Tonometry (Tonopen)

Tonometry is a diagnostic procedure used to measure the pressure inside the eye, known as intraocular pressure (IOP). Using a devie called a tonopen, this measurement is crucial for detecting and managing conditions such as glaucoma, where elevated pressure can lead to damage to the optic nerve and potential vision loss.
