Soft-Tissue Surgery
Simpsonville Animal Hospital performs soft-tissue surgery for dogs and cats. Soft-tissue surgery refers to surgical procedures that are performed on tissues other than bones and joints. This includes surgeries on organs, muscles, skin, and other soft tissues of animals.
Soft-tissue surgeries commonly performed by our veterinary team are spaying and neutering (ovariohysterectomy and castration), mass or tumor removals, wound repairs, gastrointestinal surgeries (such as foreign body removal or intestinal resection), and urogenital surgeries, such as a cystostomy.

During surgery, we closely monitor your pet's vital signs, including his or her heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels to ensure your pet's well-being throughout the entire procedure.
